Meta Knights Brings Six 8-Bit Alliances into the NFT World
After Mark Zuckerberg announced Facebook’s rebrand to Meta, and the movement to develop what they call the metaverse, there has been a renewed enthusiasm for digital communities and assets. Sitting in the middle of all of that is the NFT movement, which continues to grow momentum. So, appropriately, a new team is looking to catch the innovation on its uptrend by introducing a unique collection of 8-bit medieval creatures with their own meta-universe of their own. The collection is called Meta Knights.
With a lineup of 9,999 Metaverse knights all ready to defend their meta kingdoms, Meta Knights introduce a world of war, conquest, pride and glory. The Meta Knights narrative mostly surrounds the rivalry of six significant alliances. They’re known as the Serenheart, Sun Warden, Shujari, Ashenzure, Rhinestone, Moorlock alliances. Each kingdom has unique cultures and strengths that put them in equal power and footing with one another, making the win anyone’s prize up for grabs.
Meta Knights hopes to bring something new to the cryptocurrency realm. “We are the first 8-bit Knight NFT,” shares a company representative. “And just as knights did in Medieval times, we are a project that prides itself in being honorable and transparent with its community.” The collection started with only a selection of knights. But in recent times, the collection has expanded to include a utility token for the meta kingdom ecosystem. This new development introduces a set of virtual properties for the NFTs called Meta Manors, which the team plans to gamify in the future.
One of the more exciting aspects of the Meta Knight offering is the announced giveaways and roadmap. At ten percent minting, all mint holders should tag Meta Knights on Twitter along with their selected mints. From the pool, the team will select five winners who will receive a surprise airdrop. At one-fourth of the tokens minted, ten Meta Knights will go to ten random wallet owners. After half of the NFTs go out to holders and collectors, the team will expand the Meta Kingdom lore. A 10 Ethereum giveaway will reach ten winners at 75% and 20 more Meta Knight NFTs once the mints sell out.
The Meta Knight lore lies at the center of the project as there are plans of creating an exclusive game for mint holders, which the team promises to have a whole world of exploration and adventure for their community members.
Non-fungible tokens are the newest innovation to hit the blockchain world. It allows artists and developers to attach unique artworks to units of a cryptocurrency token, giving the digital version of the artwork a solid intrinsic value. Meta Knights hope that this approach to world-building will create an exciting world for future members of the Serenheart, Sun Warden, Shujari, Ashenzure, Rhinestone, Moorlock tribes. In addition, the project merges the revenue-generating potential of NFTs with the functionality and entertainment factor of an RPG world like the famed Warcraft or Ragnarok series.
The team behind Meta Knights also hopes to make a difference in the community by donating five Ethereum to a select charity.
