The advent of modern technology has become a massive boon for our society. Other than the many infrastructural developments that have been brought about by technology, there have also been spiritual developments that can’t be mentioned enough. Pastor Andrew F Carter is a testament to this fact, carving his own pastoral journey with the help of social media.

Unlike other pastors of his ilk, Pastor Andrew began his journey in an unconventional manner. He didn’t grow up in a church. In fact, he grew up in foster care, where he was surrounded by drugs, sex, and violence. His early childhood days were not rooted in a traditional religious background, but his determination managed to earn him two college degrees and start his own business.

Through his expertise and knowledge, Pastor Andrew gained financial success, but he knew deep down that there was something missing. He tried to fill the void with worldly promises and possessions, but he realized that what he truly lacked was something spiritual. It was only after spending eighteen months in prison that he found his way to Jesus.

Pastor Andrew never went to seminary or theology school, but he started gaining recognition for his passion for the gospel after a viral TikTok video that propelled him into the spotlight. This was the start of his own pastoral journey, inspiring him to reach a wider audience through other social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube.

His unique journey into faith has allowed Pastor Andrew to connect with a more modern audience, allowing for the younger generation to hear the gospel and live by it. He then established a non-profit organization along with his wife, Kyra, where they help individuals who are struggling with their faith.

Expanding his horizons, Pastor Andrew established Royal City Church to spread the gospel within his community and all across the globe. He tells the world of his story of overcoming obstacles to encourage, motivate, and inspire others. The foundation of his philosophy is built on his relationship with Christ and the principles of consistency and discipline.

Pastor Andrew and his wife Kyra travel all over the world preaching the gospel, doing missionary work, humanitarian projects, and God’s Kingdom work. He has been cordially invited as a guest speaker at various churches, youth camps, conferences, and summits. Going above and beyond his sworn duty, Pastor Andrew is also the author of two devotionals entitled “The Struggle Is Real But So Is God Volumes 1 and 2.”

Pastor Andrew was motivated to start a non-profit and a church because he felt like there was something off with the tradition of religion in the community. He had been pushed away in some instances and didn’t feel connected or accepted because of his past. He was called to ministry and felt like there were a lot of people who were unrepresented and needed to know the transformation of the love of Jesus.

“Part of our mission is helping outreach organizations, foundations, and ministries. These charities offer a wide range of assistance. They provide essentials for children around the world experiencing poverty, supply medical aid for ill children, and help low-income families. They recover and rebuild those in women shelters and foster care, aid refugee children, and provide food for the unhoused communities,” explained Pastor Andrew.

They also founded Royal City Church in the hopes of helping save souls by providing teachings and resources that spread the gospel. “My wife and I have experienced so much growth over the last 12 months. We have started a non-profit, a church and travel spreading the gospel. In the next five years, I believe it will be a church that is celebrated nationwide because of the impact that it will make on the community. I’m praying that over the next five years, the love and atmosphere that we create will bring people in from all walks of life from all over the world,” said Pastor Andrew.
